Job description

Role Overview:
As the Project Director, you will oversee the full lifecycle of exhibition design and build projects—from initial briefing and concept development to fabrication, logistics, and on-site execution. You will work closely with clients, creatives, fabricators, and vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end exhibition and event projects across Asia
  • Liaise directly with clients to understand objectives, manage expectations, and ensure satisfaction
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to translate briefs into actionable plans
  • Oversee budgets, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management
  • Manage vendors, contractors, and on-site teams to ensure smooth execution
  • Develop and maintain SOPs to optimize project workflows and team productivity
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance guidance to the project management team

Requirements:

  • Min. 8 years of experience in project management within exhibition/event/retail environments
  • Proven track record managing regional or international projects
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder communication skills
  • Fluent in English; Mandarin or regional language skills a plus
  • Willing to travel for overseas projects when required
  • Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office

Preferred:

  • Background in design, architecture, events, or construction industries
  • Familiarity with exhibition venues, regulations, and logistical challenges in Asia
