Roles & Responsibilities

NX Global Engineering PTE. LTD.provides our customers with a full scale of construction, maintenance, and transportation services worldwide. We specialize in project management, quality control, and, most importantly, safety management.

We are seeking a highly experiencedManaging Directorto lead and oversee the Company’s operations in Singapore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the Company’s strategic direction, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining alignment with the global objectives set by our Japan headquarters. This role requires strong leadership, engineering expertise, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, safe, and reliable services.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and execute the Company’s strategic vision and business plans in alignment with the global objectives set by Japan HQ.
• Identify growth opportunities and drive innovation to expand the Company’s market presence.

Operational Oversight:

• Oversee all aspects of the Company’s operations, including project management, quality control, and safety management.
• Ensure operational efficiency and compliance with Company policies and regulatory requirements.

Client and Stakeholder Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including Japanese clients, ensuring their needs are met with the highest standards.
• Represent the Company in negotiations, partnerships, and key business discussions.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, respect, and continuous improvement.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to senior management and staff to achieve organizational goals.

Financial Management:

• Oversee the Company’s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Ensure profitability and sustainable growth while maintaining operational excellence.

Global Collaboration:

• Act as the primary liaison between the Singapore office and Japan HQ, ensuring alignment with global strategies and objectives.

Minimum Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s Degree is preferred.

Technical Skills and Prior Experience:

• At least15 years of senior management experiencein heavy haulage, construction, and maintenance in process plants.
• Proven track record of leading and managing large-scale projects and operations.
• Strong knowledge and experience in heavy lifting, transportation, and mechanical work.
• Proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N2 Level or higher) in speaking, listening, and writing isessential, as the role requires frequent interaction with Japanese counterparts.
• IT proficiency, with strong experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, and project management tools.
