Job description

You will assist the Radiographers in patient care during the radiological examinations and procedures in the department and wards. You will attend to patients’ enquiries and needs such as receiving and assisting patients in getting ready for radiological procedures. In addition, you will need to assist in housekeeping, appointment scheduling, patient registration, record keeping and sorting of procedural documents.

Responsibilities

  • Assists Radiologists & Radiographers with patient examinations and procedures in the department, ward and, operating theatre.
  • Portering of patients, handling of mobile equipment, cleaning of accessories & equipment, maintaining cleanliness of work environment. Registration, record keeping and sorting or x-ray documents. Dispatching documents when necessary.
  • Receives and assists patients to get ready for Radiological examinations. Assists to direct patients to the respective procedure areas. Attends to patient enquiries.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

  • GCE 'O' levels or equivalent.
  • Able to converse, read and write in English. Must be confident in speaking over the phone regularly to stakeholders such as patients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals
  • Prior relevant experience in hospital or hospitality setting is an added advantage
