A leading company in the travel industry is seeking a dedicated Travel Consultant to provide personalized travel consultations and manage customer inquiries. The ideal candidate will possess strong bilingual communication skills in English and Mandarin, with a passion for the travel industry, particularly in cruise sales. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional travel experiences while demonstrating strong business development capabilities.
Provide personalized and professional travel consultations tailored to each client’s unique preferences and needs, delivering exceptional travel experiences.
Efficiently manage customer inquiries and sales transactions via various online platforms and email.
Clearly explain detailed travel itineraries, ensuring clients fully understand the trip and addressing any concerns or questions promptly.
Proactively follow up on sales leads to increase conversion and success rates.
Acquire in-depth knowledge of the company's cruise products and effectively communicate their value to clients.
Demonstrate strong business development capabilities, including sourcing individual and corporate clients (e.g., other travel agencies).
Bachelor’s degree or higher.
Proficiency in both English and Mandarin, with strong bilingual communication skills to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients.
Passionate about the travel industry with solid knowledge, particularly in the cruise sector.
Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the travel industry; cruise sales experience is a strong advantage.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
Proven track record in sales success and maintaining client relationships, with the ability to provide ongoing after-sales support.
Highly self-motivated and results-driven.
