Role Summary
The IT Operation Executive is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day IT functions, including troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues, managing IT infrastructure, and supporting business applications.
This role plays a key part in IT asset lifecycle management, documentation, policy enforcement, and identifying opportunities for system improvements. The specialist will also work closely with regional and global IT teams on IT policies, security compliance, and IT Transformation initiatives. Additionally, the role involves coordination with IT vendors for issue resolution and IT project execution.
Job Description
IT Support & Troubleshooting:
Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for IT-related issues, including desktops, laptops, software applications, and peripheral devices.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, network, and application-related problems, escalating complex issues to regional/global IT/Vendor teams when necessary.
Assist employees with system setup & access, email configurations, VPN connections, and security settings.
IT Infrastructure & Systems Management:
Maintain and manage IT infrastructure, including servers, networking equipment, storage, and security systems.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot network issues to ensure operational efficiency.
Manage IT asset lifecycle, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement of IT hardware and software.
Maintain IT documentation, including network topology, system configurations, asset listing, software license listing and support processes.
IT Policies & Compliance:
Collaborate with regional and global IT teams to implement and enforce IT policies, security standards, and compliance measures.
Ensure adherence to cybersecurity best practices and participate in security awareness initiatives.
Conduct periodic system audits and ensure compliance with corporate IT guidelines.
Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination:
Liaise with IT vendors for issue resolution, hardware/software support, and IT service management.
Coordinate with external service providers for IT infrastructure upgrades, maintenance, and IT projects.
Manage vendor relationships and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
Continuous Improvement & Transformation Initiatives:
Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance IT operations efficiency.
Support IT transformation projects by participating in system upgrades, cloud migrations, and new technology implementations.
Provide training and knowledge-sharing sessions to end-users on IT best practices and tools.
Qualifications & Experience Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
3-5 years of experience in IT operations, system administration, or technical support.
Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Experience managing IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, firewalls, and cloud environments is a plus.
Experience coordinating with IT vendors for troubleshooting and project execution.
Technical Skills Required
Proficiency in Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office 365, and enterprise applications.
Knowledge of networking fundamentals (LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, DNS, DHCP).
Experience with IT service management (ITSM) tools and ticketing systems.
Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles and IT compliance frameworks.

Language Required
Fluent in English – both spoken and written, with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional setting.
Proficient in Chinese (Mandarin) – able to speak confidently and read/write Chinese using computer input methods (e.g., Pinyin). Comfortable using Chinese in both verbal communication and written correspondence.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, ITIL, or equivalent.
Experience working in a multinational or regional IT environment.
