Your Role:

The Technology Engineer designs, implements, troubleshoots, analyzes and maintains the IT infrastructure of internal and customer facing environments; including server administration, virtualization, performance tuning, backup and disaster recovery and other platform management aspects. Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems. Maintains documentation of existing platforms and procedures, as was as documenting new standards and procedures. Uses experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks with minimal oversight and provides support for escalated trouble tickets.

Your Opportunity:

• Receives general instructions for new responsibilities from the supervisor
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation as it relates to server and platform topology, equipment, and configuration
• Evaluates and/or recommends purchases; has a strong influence on the purchasing process
• Participate in after-hours upgrades, troubleshooting, and/or on-call availability as needed

• May perform other duties and responsibilities that management may deem necessary from time to time

What You'll Need:

• 3-5 years of prior IT experience
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate by phone, email, and in person
• Demonstrated ability to achieve successful outcomes in handling difficult situations and work with various customers and management levels
• Demonstrated analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Shows initiative and acts independently to resolve problems, often managing multiple priorities and following projects through to completion
• Works effectively both as a team member and independently
• Strong Linux and System Management skills are a must
• Experience working with Windows Server, VMware, Linux, and Storage Area Networks
• Experience working with AWS, Azure, GCP and other cloud platforms
• Proven background of providing great customer service
• Ability to work independently, prioritizes existing projects, and proactively determine areas requiring additional attention, monitoring, or maintenance

And Ideally:
• Microsoft, VMware, or Linux Certifications
• Experience with Terraform and Docker
• Scripting and automation skills
• Experience with CI processes (Bamboo, Jenkins)

• Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time
• Some travel may be required
