Vice President, Technical - Powerplant
Location: Singapore

A leading global aircraft leasing company is hiring for a Vice President, Technical - Powerplant in their Singapore office. This position involves overseeing powerplant operations, managing technical aspects of the fleet, and ensuring seamless collaboration with stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate powerplant activities for aircraft under lease agreements.
  2. Supervise engine shop visits and manage maintenance reserve claims.
  3. Provide expertise for aircraft transitions, working closely with MROs and OEMs.
  4. Handle contract negotiations and administration within the MRO network.
  5. Monitor industry developments and share relevant insights with the team.
  6. Oversee spare engine operations and implement innovative management strategies.

Your Profile:

  1. Engineering Degree, EASA Part 66 license, or equivalent technical qualification.
  2. At least five years of technical experience with airlines, OEMs, or in the leasing sector.
  3. Deep knowledge of at least two engine types (CFM, GE, IAE, PW, or RR).
  4. Demonstrated success in managing and negotiating MRO contracts.
  5. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  6. Open to extensive global travel as required.
