Job Description:

The Electrical Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing electrical projects from start to finish. This includes managing resources, budgets, schedules, and ensuring work is performed safely, within scope, and to high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage electrical installation projects (residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure).
• Oversee project planning, design review, procurement, and execution.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
• Monitor and control project budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
• Prepare and submit reports, progress updates, and documentation.
• Resolve project-related issues and provide technical guidance.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure proper safety practices are enforced.
• Manage subcontractors and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Attend site meetings and client briefings as required.

Job Requirements:

Education & Qualifications:

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Certified Electrical Engineer or equivalent certification (e.g., Chargeman, Competent Person certification is a plus).

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electrical project management.
• Proven track record in handling medium to large-scale electrical projects.

Skills:

• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent knowledge of electrical systems, design, and installations.
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
