New Life’s VM Team plays a vital role in building up the capability of the organisation’s ability to network, engage and retain its volunteers. As a Volunteer Management Executive, you are a vital co-labourer and co-creator in the Team’s effort in creating a volunteer friendly culture within New Life where fulfilled volunteers are fulfilling needs.
Responsibilities
· Recruit, screen, and onboard volunteers in line with organizational needs.
· Participate in Conceptualise, Plan and Develop strategies to build deep friendships with partners and foster collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
· Design and implement volunteer management systems and processes to network, match and engage volunteers.
· Manage the roll out of volunteer training programmes to strengthen capability, support aspirational and motivational needs, and create buy-in.
· Work closely with departments to coordinate volunteer contributions on both department and organisation-wide levels.
· Effectively handle communications with volunteers and internal departments on various platforms to optimise engagement and coordination.
Requirements
· Diploma, Degree or equivalent in any discipline
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite IT knowledge and skills.
· Attention to detail and accuracy
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Ability to build good working relationships with stakeholders, collaborating at all levels.
· At least 1 to 2 years of experience in volunteer management or community engagement preferred.
· Understanding of Social Service or non-profit Sector will be an advantage.
· Able to work outside office hours on occasion, willing to move about the island and possess the resilience to handle challenges.
