We are looking for an experienced Solutions Engineer to join our Asia Solutions Engineering team. The position is based in Singapore, with options for remote work. For more context, see this article: The Future of Work at HubSpot: How We're Building a Hybrid Company.

Our team comprises enthusiastic Solutions Engineers across Singapore, India, Australia, and Japan. We support each other and share knowledge within our team and across the global Presales organization at HubSpot. We seek someone who collaborates well, is sensitive to clients’ needs, and can develop relationships. You will primarily work with our sales teams, as well as other stakeholders such as local sales leadership, post-sales technical consultants, and regional solutions partners.

In this role, you will:

  1. Work closely with Account Executives to address prospect needs pre-sales.
  2. Develop strategies with Account Executives to assist customers and prospects.
  3. Manage complex use cases and stakeholder relationships.
  4. Lead technical pre-sales conversations on integration and data migration.
  5. Provide feedback to the product team by representing the prospect’s voice.
  6. Coach sales teams on HubSpot functionalities to craft strategic, value-oriented solutions.
  7. Collaborate with global SEs on initiatives and projects.

Role requirements include:

  • Fluency in English.
  • Multilingual skills in Asian languages are valued.
  • Proven experience in customer-facing roles such as Solutions/Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Pre-Sales Consultant.
  • Strong storytelling, demo, and discovery skills.
  • Technical understanding and application skills:
    • Knowledge of HTTP methods and APIs.
    • Proficiency with Postman.
    • Understanding of databases and architecture.
    • Familiarity with programming concepts and languages.
    • Knowledge of integration types.
  • Deep understanding of the HubSpot platform is a bonus.
