Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION

  1. Update and maintain the rental payment file to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
  2. Update and manage the security deposit file, including adjustments and refunds as necessary.
  3. Update and maintain the accident excess file to track relevant payments and adjustments.
  4. Monitor and update the hirers' outstanding file to ensure accurate tracking of overdue payments.
  5. Ensure the timely transmission of rental receipt messages to hirers, confirming their payments.
  6. Prepare and submit the GIRO deduction file to the bank for processing automatic payment deductions.
  7. Send GIRO authorization forms to the bank to facilitate automatic payment processing.
  8. Generate and review the enforcement list on a daily basis, identifying accounts requiring enforcement action.
  9. Undertake ad hoc projects aimed at improving work processes and operational efficiency.
  10. Perform any other duties as assigned by the department manager.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Proficient in Excel (Preferred): Strong proficiency in using Excel, including advanced functions such as formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
  2. English Literacy: Basic command of the English language, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with hirers, the bank, and internal teams.
  3. Accounting Knowledge (Added Advantage): Basic understanding of accounting principles, particularly in areas such as financial record keeping, invoicing, and reconciliation.
  4. Data Entry & Accuracy: High attention to detail with the ability to accurately enter and update data in various files and systems.
