The Company

Our client, a well-established automotive business headquartered in Singapore, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Workshop & Customer Service Manager to lead and grow their workshop, repairs, and service business unit.

The Role

This is a key leadership role that will report directly to the Managing Director and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver operational excellence and drive business growth. You responsibilities include:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency standards are met.
  • Collaborate closely with the technical team to ensure timely and high-quality servicing, diagnostics, and repairs.
  • Drive business development initiatives to grow the service and repairs segment, including contract offerings and customer retention programs.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to develop and execute growth strategies and campaigns.
  • Build strong customer relationships by ensuring top-tier service and managing service delivery expectations.
  • Monitor KPIs, service quality, and profitability metrics, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Profile

As the successful candidate, you will possess a degree in Accountancy or ACCA with the following relevant experience:

  • Minimum 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in a hands-on technical role within an automotive workshop, with proven experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire technical teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels.
  • Commercial mindset with a passion for driving growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Deep interest in the automotive sector and staying up to date with industry trends and technologies.
