Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Senior Manufacturing Engineer located in Kallang, Singapore.

What a typical day looks like:
  1. Plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes by providing technical support in the development, implementation, and maintenance of manufacturing methods.
  2. Designs manufacturing processes within schedule and budgetary parameters.
  3. Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods.
  4. Analyzes and plans workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
  5. Confers with production group concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods.
  6. Coordinates with customers to determine product specifications, bill of materials, and design changes and responds to their requests.
  7. Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions.
  8. Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.
  9. Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
  10. Responsible for process-engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality, and delivery improvements to support the manufacturing organization.
  11. Implements and evaluates proposed designs and processes for manufacturability.
  12. Prepares justification, purchases, and implements capital equipment for production.
  13. Conducts and supports validation activities on manufacturing systems/equipment and process setups.
  14. Oversees new process equipment production.
  15. Establishes robust, repeatable, and reproducible process parameters.
  16. Troubleshoots process-related issues.
  17. Participates in activities related to cycle time and process improvements.
  18. Evaluates and selects engineered materials.
  19. Implements statistical process analysis on new and existing products.
  20. Implements safety, productivity, and yield improvements.
  21. Improves manufacturing techniques and throughput.
  22. Develops and maintains process documentation.
  23. Reviews processing methods.
  24. Interfaces with production regarding new process implementation and transfer.
  25. Assists in developing and providing training to production personnel during new technology transfer.
  26. Provides equipment maintenance and repair support as required.
  27. Participates in cost improvement/reduction programs as part of LEAN initiatives.
  28. Contributes to workplace safety, health, and environmental protection by adhering to company policies and participating in EHS programs.
  29. Participates in and adheres to the Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (CSER) policies, programs, and procedures.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Typically requires 4 years of engineering experience in the high technology electronics industry or related field.
