A leading company is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager (Maintenance) to oversee maintenance operations and ensure optimal system performance. This role involves leading a team, managing vendors, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Candidates should have a degree in Electronics & Computer Engineering and at least 7 years of relevant experience, particularly in security and surveillance systems.
Job Title: Assistant Manager (Maintenance)
Location: Office at Toa Payoh (Must be open to travel Islandwide, company van being provided, (prefer with license)
Working Hours: 5-day week, Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 6:00pm
Salary: $4,000 - $5,500 basic + 1-month AWS
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager (Maintenance) to oversee maintenance operations and ensure optimal system performance. This role involves leading a team, managing vendors and contractors, planning preventive and corrective maintenance, and upholding safety and operational standards. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in surveillance and ICT systems, proven leadership capabilities, and a results-driven mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, manage, and implement maintenance operations within budget and SLA
Improve system reliability, maintainability, and availability
Ensure systems meet technical, contractual, and compliance requirements
Submit monthly maintenance reports and attend client meetings
Manage obsolescence, change requests, and documentation updates
Handle procurement of materials and contractor engagement
Lead, train, and coach maintenance engineers and technicians
Supervise sub-contractors and ensure professional work execution
Develop training content and conduct annual retraining for clients
Enforce site safety, procedures, and good housekeeping
Optimize team movement and competencies to improve efficiency
Maintain training records, KPIs, risk assessments, and performance reviews
Perform root cause analysis and resolve technical issues
Requirements:
Degree in Electronics & Computer Engineering or related field
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in security/surveillance
Solid knowledge of CCTV, ICT platforms, IP networking, and network security
Strong leadership and communication skills
Experience with project management
Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Class 3 driving license is an advantage
