A leading company is looking for a proactive Project Manager to oversee Addition & Alteration and Asset Enhancement Initiatives for commercial and industrial properties. The role involves managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with regulations, and collaborating with various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, along with a solid background in project management within the construction sector.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Project Manager to lead A&A (Addition & Alteration) and Asset Enhancement Initiatives (AEI) for our portfolio of commercial and B1 industrial properties. The ideal candidate will oversee the full project cycle, ensuring works are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in line with compliance and operational standards, while minimizing disruption to tenants.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee end-to-end execution of A&A and upgrading projects across retail and industrial properties.
Collaborate with internal teams (Leasing, Operations, Finance) to define project scopes, timelines, and budget allocations.
Liaise with authorities (e.g., BCA, URA, SCDF, NEA) to manage permit applications and regulatory compliance.
Manage procurement processes, including tendering, evaluation, and appointment of contractors/consultants.
Monitor site progress, perform inspections, and ensure adherence to quality and safety benchmarks.
Address and resolve on-site issues and technical challenges promptly.
Prepare regular updates, cost tracking reports, and risk assessments for senior stakeholders.
Support the implementation of sustainability and innovation practices in project planning and delivery.
Requirements:
Degree in Civil Engineering, Building, Construction Management, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience managing A&A or AEI works, preferably in commercial or industrial environments.
Well-versed in Singapore’s regulatory framework and building authority requirements.
Hands-on experience with landlord-led enhancement works aligned with operational and leasing goals.
Strong project planning, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination skills.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with software such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Project is an advantage.
