Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and lead the Safety team & subcontractors in the implementation of Company’s safety systems at sites.

  • Liaise closely with site operations staff and Project Managers on all safety and health issues

  • Conduct & organize internal / external WSH trainings for staffs

  • Conduct incident investigations, identifying causes of accidents, and non-compliance with organizational and legal WSH standards.

  • To review OHSMS and provide recommendations for improvement of safety.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards through regular audits and site inspections.

  • To ensure implementation, control and enforce of safety on site.

  • Conducting Comprehensive Risk Assessments for In-House and Project Sites

  • Prepare safe work procedures for site activities

  • Update production/project team on the latestMOM safety news

  • Monitor that all staff and workers comply with the safety rules & regulation

  • Participate in safety committee inspection and meeting

  • Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior

Job Requirements:

  • At least a Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH)

  • Valid WSHO registration with MOM

  • Registered Fire Safety Manager (advantage)

  • Preferably 3 years relevant experience working as WSHO in Manufacturing Plant Facilities or Construction

  • Self-driven and team player with good interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Traveling between workplaces will be required.

  • 5.5-day work week
