Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT System Engineer to join our client's dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Microsoft 365 administration, endpoint management, cybersecurity, and enterprise-level IT support. This role requires a proactive professional with a solid technical foundation, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deploy, configure, and administer Microsoft 365 services, with a focus on Microsoft Intune, Compliance, and Security modules.
2. Serve as a key contributor in enterprise-level IT projects, acting as a project manager or facilitator to ensure timely and successful delivery.
3. Provide Level 2 technical support in a mid to large-sized enterprise environment (100+ users), troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
4. Translate technical issues into user-friendly language and provide clear communication to non-technical stakeholders.
5. Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including hands-on experience with next-generation firewalls and security appliances.
6. Implement and uphold cybersecurity best practices in alignment with industry standards and organizational policies.
7. Effectively manage and prioritize multiple ongoing projects and service requests.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT initiatives and improve overall system performance and security.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in IT system engineering or a related field.
2. At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and M365 administration, particularly in compliance and security.
3. Proven track record of managing or facilitating IT projects within enterprise environments.
4. Strong networking skills with experience in managing and configuring next-gen firewalls.
5. Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
6. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
7. ITIL certification is required.
8. Microsoft 365 Certified Administrator Expert (MS-102) certification is preferred.
