As an Assistant IT Project Manager cum site project management, you will be working closely with the Project Manager/Project Director in developing and managing project schedules, scopes, resources, and monitoring project health.
Responsibilities
- Working with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and customers in the projects.
- Assist in the development and management of project schedules and resources, identify risks, define problem-solving strategies, and facilitate conflict resolution.
- Leading cross-functional team meetings and driving outcomes towards project success.
- Assist in the translation of business needs into clear and comprehensive software requirements specifications.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure accurate interpretation of requirements during the software development life cycle.
- Translate technical information into business language to ensure understanding by both business and technical audiences.
- Identifying and scheduling customer-facing meetings to assure effective completion of projects.
- Generate Project Management Plan for QAD and Management Review.
- Liaise with Procurement and Legal for any contract-related matters (contract to vendors).
- Generate installation-related material BQ and sub-contractor scope of work for sub-contractor tender.
- Liaise closely with client/consultant and main contractor for installation-related matters or schedule.
- Coordinate with the system team to prepare all the system and sub-system design documents.
- Manage the Testing & Commissioning of the system with internal team members.
- Track project cost and perform timely sales pick up.
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of project delivery.
- Contribute to the creation and updating of project documentation.
- Work with procurement for best sourcing and pricing before the award of sub-contractor.
- Able to handle tasks with multiple deadlines and efficiently prioritize tasks accordingly.
- Develop meeting minutes independently and follow up on action items.
Qualifications
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.
- 4 - 6 years of experience in IT Project Management.
- Preferably with a valid PMP Certification.
- Understanding of different project delivery methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, and Scrum.
- Able to handle complex projects with different groups of users and external vendors.
- Having an eye for details and the potential to see roadblocks or risks down the line.
- Experience handling site implementation activities with the project team.
- Demonstrated success managing priorities and personalities in cross-functional teams.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Fast learner with a passion for technology.
