We are looking for a Manufacturing Excellence Assistant (1-year contract) to serve as the Digital Specialist and Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all digital initiatives in our Jurong Factory. The role involves spearheading digitalisation and automation efforts, managing existing digital initiatives, and driving Manufacturing Excellence initiatives in Goal Alignment (GA) and Focused Improvement (FI). Additionally, the role supports the implementation of TPM methodology at the factory, including digitalisation of AM and PM pillar tools.

Key Outputs
  • Lead digital projects (e.g., DMO, POKA) to improve performance, efficiency, and reduce costs while maintaining safety and quality standards.
  • Monitor and validate project results, ensuring benefits are measured and impacts communicated to stakeholders.
  • Provide training and methodological support, mentoring teams on digital projects.
  • Offer technical support for digital solutions, troubleshooting, and ensuring business continuity.
  • Drive Manufacturing Excellence initiatives through project execution, training, and coaching in GA and FI.
  • Support TPM activities on the shopfloor.
  • Promote cross-fertilisation of ideas, knowledge, standards, and improvements.
  • Coordinate support from external consultants if applicable.
  • Motivate and empower teams, fostering positive change in mindsets.
  • Measure, monitor, and improve factory standards while safeguarding assets.
  • Ensure adherence to Nestlé standards and best practices.
  • Optimize system use to enhance competitiveness.
  • Uphold all SHE practices and ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards (FSSC22000, HACCP, etc.).
Key Experiences
  • Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with digital tools like Power Apps and Power BI.
  • Understanding of business needs and continuous improvement techniques.
  • Experience in TPM implementation and change management.
  • Strong influencing, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Exposure to SHE and food safety practices in a food & beverage manufacturing environment.
