Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of the Year Maintenance Plan in collaboration with the Maintenance team.
- Design and implement the Preventive Maintenance (PM) program, identifying assets requiring maintenance through risk assessments, asset criticality analysis, statutory guidelines, internal policies, and historical performance data.
- Define the appropriate type, frequency, and methods for preventive maintenance activities, referencing manufacturer recommendations, legal requirements, industry standards, and warranty conditions.
- Determine required procedures, tools, and resources for maintenance tasks, working closely with the Maintenance Planner to finalize scopes of work.
- Identify and plan Capex projects based on operational or sustainability goals, prepare tender documents, and execute projects in accordance with organizational standards (e.g., Management of Change and Project Management frameworks).
- Conduct inspections to assess engineering work quality and the integrity of existing systems or infrastructure, recommending necessary corrective actions to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
- Analyze inspection data and generate actionable insights via "Work Out Of Inspection" processes.
- Drive maintenance optimization and promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and asset reliability.
- Provide technical troubleshooting support, perform Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), and develop corrective and preventive action plans.
- Assist and mentor technicians on complex technical issues.
- Perform basic quality control checks on assets and processes.
- Oversee and coordinate subcontractors and vendors, serving as the main liaison in alignment with contract management procedures.
- Support internal and external audits, including authority inspections and customer assessments.
- Participate in or lead company-wide initiatives and pilot projects.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in maintenance engineering.
- Strong foundation in maintenance, operations, safety protocols, and product knowledge.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and best practices.
- Proficient in data analysis and capable of translating insights into actionable improvements.
- Knowledge of industrial standards (e.g., API, ASME, or similar); familiarity with API 653 and/or 570 is a plus.
