What the role is:
You will help drive the digital transformation at the HDB’s Building & Research Institute by overseeing the migration of software and IT applications to the Government Commercial Cloud (GCC). Your responsibilities include conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system maintenance, and providing training and technical support to end users. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth transition and operation of systems while maintaining compliance with government IT standards.
What you will be working on:
• Perform Project Management of third-party vendors to migrate and maintain cloud systems
• Develop methodology for migration of existing on-premise systems (e.g., Env modelling software) to Cloud
• Conduct risk assessments, develop specifications, and prepare submissions for procurement of ICT goods and services
• Maintain both on-premise and Cloud server environments through patch management, updates, and troubleshooting
• Monitor and optimise server and system performance through maintenance and updates
• Review current ICT processes, identify gaps, and implement enhancements to ensure compliance with latest security updates
What we are looking for:
• Background in Information Systems/Computer Science, or related disciplines
• At least 3 years’ experience in systems administration, ICT project management, and/or cloud DevOps
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, infrastructure, and applications (e.g., AWS Cloud)
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to identify solutions for stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with various stakeholders and team members
• Knowledge and experience in cybersecurity, patch management, and high-performance computing will be an advantage
• Certifications in relevant cloud technologies and competencies will be an advantage
• Successful candidates will be offered a 1-year contract initially
