A leading company in marine flow control solutions is seeking a proactive Senior Sales Engineer to drive business across Southeast Asia. The role involves developing sales strategies, engaging with key industry players, and providing technical consultation. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and relevant B2B technical sales experience in the marine sector.

Qualifications

  3. Seeking a proactive and technically solid Senior Sales Engineer to drive business across SEA. If you're all about valves, vessels, and value, keep reading.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies for marine valves and flow control systems.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in both MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) and New Build projects.

  • Engage with shipyards, vessel owners/operators, and marine contractors to grow the customer base.

  • Provide technical consultation to clients—understand system requirements, propose suitable solutions.

  • Prepare quotes, follow up on sales orders, and manage customer relationships via NAV system.

  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for product improvements or new product offerings.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

  • Represent the company at relevant industry events and client meetings across Southeast Asia.

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

  • Minimum 3 to 4 years of B2B technical sales experience in the marine industry.

  • Strong understanding of marine valve systems and flow control technologies.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Must be willing to travel regionally (SEA). - Light travelling

  • Self-driven, adaptable, and able to work independently.

  • Familiarity with NAV or ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
