Job description

Vita Singapore is currently searching for an experienced Senior Site Supervisor to join the Project Management & Construction team responsible for the build and delivery of a range of projects.

Vita Partners is the Asia-Pacific’s largest pan-regional pure-play life science, innovation and R&D real estate platform. The platform focuses on investing, acquiring, developing, constructing, managing, and operating real estate projects in fast-growing life sciences, innovation and R&D real estate markets in Asia-Pacific. The company operates within two main segments – a high-barrier-to-entry life sciences project construction management business and a specialized investment management business. Since the 2000s, the project construction management business has worked on over 200 projects in Asia-Pacific for more than 100 blue-chip life sciences and pharmaceutical companies, with many repeat clients.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Manage the project delivery, including the design development process, consultant appointments, authority approvals, procurement, contract administration and project reporting.
• Determine project management, technical services and site management.
• Manage subcontractors, consultant team, and project stakeholders to ensure effective completion of responsibilities including project brief/scope, fees, processing claims, deliverables, and/or project variations.
• Display strong communication and negotiation skills to support the client/customer focus.
• Ensure the site safety is maintained and delivered.
• Assist with the timely sequencing/methodology and production of scheduling plans.

Requirements:

• Main Contractor experience in a supervisory role with relevant tertiary qualifications in Architectural Studies or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 – 10 years' experience working on construction projects.
• Experience in planning and conceptual building design, with a strong understanding of modern building materials, building services systems, and construction principles.
• Experience in roles related to building, refinery, petrochemical, process, or pharmaceutical plant construction is a distinct advantage.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with people across all levels.
• Knowledge of the Construction and Property industries, with an understanding of estimating, scheduling, field supervision, contracts administration, procurement, and reporting.
