An established industry player is seeking a dynamic ERP Leader to drive the implementation of innovative ERP strategies across regions. About Role
The responsibilities of the role are to provide direction to implement regional ERP strategies, drive implementation of ERP roadmap activities to support efforts to achieve organizational objectives. The role should devise tactical activities to evaluate key business challenges, direct development of new or innovative solutions. You will develop deep knowledge across the business and be the voice of your stakeholders within the group and you engage across the various functions that contribute to the enablement and execution of ERP solutions to drive business outcome in alignment to the group strategy and within our design principles.
Responsibilities and Duties
Accountabilities
Provide leadership in the Region for the deployment of the ERP Strategic Roadmap as defined within the ERP Products IT team
Harmonized processes and solution as an organizational ‘asset’ and the delivery of future roadmaps and target process/system solutions for the ERP Products in the region
Ensuring and influence the ERP Products group in the Region to enable the best possible, and continuously improving global End User Experience
Lead and drive the implementation of the global ERP projects in the area, align on scope, time, and resources both internal and external that are assigned to the project
Drive autonomously local steering committee meetings on behalf for the ERP leadership with C-levels and other leaders for all ERP products projects, facilitate decisions and manage escalations.
Oversee of the ERP Business Process Owners, Key Users Community - Stakeholder management and partnership with the Worldwide Change Management team to enable business continuity
Act as the single point of contact for the worldwide ERP team in the Region for every matter related to the communication and implementation of the ERP roadmap, ERP projects and regular releases, including the Continuous Improvement Enhancements
Technical/Functional (Line) Expertise
Proven track record within ERP processes and solution delivery in global companies
Expertise and knowledge in delivery of ERP capabilities; Agile and Waterfall Methodologies, Process Modelling, Project Management best practices, and process analysis.
Deep understanding of MS Dynamics NAV/BC/ or similar ERP platform and processes
Experience in managing end-to-end ERP projects and enhancements
Project planning and resource management. Budgeting and project status and cost reporting experience
Leadership
Direct experience in understanding business outcomes as a key driver to establish ERP vision and strategy
Lead regional / Country engagement including key business stakeholder’s management in the Region (communication, escalation, preliminary engagement for new initiatives)
Lead negotiations with local stakeholder when it comes to issues and risks management and key decision with high impact on the operation in the Region
Lead external parties, like solution partners and manage budget contract execution and accomplishment control
Skills in people management and the ability to operate as an effective advocate within the organization around ERP Product and business value
Experience in facilitating key technical and business discussions leading to actionable insights and status progress
Decision-making and Autonomy
Experience in roles that allow a high level of autonomy to make decisions related to the ERP Strategic Roadmap deployment in the region
Ability to build consensus on sensitive topics which require senior managers to often accept compromises at the local level based on the bigger picture view
Full control of external vendors
Experienced in designing roadmaps within their capability with a view to the wider technology environment and strategies across disciplines.
Manage and supervise enterprise systems, implement and execute IT strategies related to ERP system
Overall in-charge of ERP functions and operations, and oversee application team
Coordinate, manage, and implement of MS Dynamics NAV project; Liaise with NAV Vendors, review NAV process, conducting UAT test, train user etc
Oversee a complete ERP implementation – including stakeholder/vendor management, documentation and managing the end-to-end process within the region
Monitor the cost, calculate the number of resources for the project and deploy it for the project
Provide in-depth functional system analysis, integration, documentation and implementation advice on business and technical requirements that required subject matter knowledge to implement an effective solution
Provide guidance to ERP team and seek to resolve NAV issues in a timely manner
Responsible for ensuring that the decision-making governance framework is adhered to at all time.
Ownership of planning and leading project team meetings which includes effective and timely communications and updates stakeholders
Provide leadership and take ownership in new site implementations/projects.
To lead and participation in change management process. Pro-actively evaluate, identify project changes and incorporate appropriate impact analysis and approvals for changes through review with business units.
Proactively manage risks and direct the development and maintenance of plans, practices and assignments to identify and mitigate potential risks
Create and maintain SOPs for better governance and work processes
Manage and align expectations across stakeholders
Organize to work closely with software vendors and business users to meet business requirements. Ensure high level of internal customer service for new system request or modification.
Ensure compliance with IT policies and uphold of service level agreement.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent
Cross border team management experience
Analytical Problem solving that systematically considers the implications of problems and solutions in more than one domain at a time and does not solve a problem in one domain that causes a problem in another
Possess good awareness to understand less-obvious reasons for others’ concerns, behaviour and perspectives
People-centricity and autonomous, dynamic and results oriented with a can-do attitude
You are leader in Project/Change Management and motivated to help others succeed
Some overseas travel may be required
Strong working knowledge of MS Dynamic NAV or BC or similar ERP is a MUST
PMP Certified or equivalent or experience, proven success management of complex ERP migration projects
Ability to set priorities, align stakeholder expectations, develop and execute an associated action plan.
Work with virtual teams located in different countries around the world, aligning and adapting different work, culture, and communication styles.
Excellent oral and written communications skills, business acumen with problem solving and analytical skills
