A leading company in Singapore is seeking a Procurement Specialist with at least 3 years of experience in procurement operations. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in Engineering, Science, or Construction Management, and be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Responsibilities include maintaining procurement records, collaborating with project teams, and supporting budget monitoring.
Job Description
Conversant of purchasing exercise and familiar with associated contractual terms and conditions for Procurement Works related to ICA Works.
Maintain procurement records and documentation.
Communicate and work very closely with the project team for preparation of the invitation of the request for Proposal and administering of the purchase requisition and award consent with the project team.
Collaborating with procurement team in day-to-day procurement operation.
Collaborating with Project Leads in project budget monitoring.
With experience in auditing and its procedures and compliances.
With good oral and written command in English and with effective communication skills with all levels and he/she shall be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
Requirements
At least 3 years working experience and with either a Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Science, Construction Management.
With good knowledge and experience in procurement role in the past covers purchasing and associated contractual administration works.
Positive thinking and with supportive atmosphere amongst the procurement team
Preferably with those with at least 2 years of experience in water and wastewater or waste to energy industries
Preferably with those with good knowledge of mechanical works cover fabrication and piping works
