Job description

1. Top skillset candidate must have:
  1. A. AWS Cloud experience: Candidate should have experience supporting, monitoring, troubleshooting, and related services in AWS, with a good understanding of AWS knowledge. If the candidate has GCC experience, it would be a significant advantage.
  2. B. Monitoring tools experience: Experience setting up and maintaining monitoring tools such as Zabbix and Kibana.
  3. C. CI/CD process experience: Experience in setting up continuous integration and continuous deployment processes and tools.
  4. D. IM8 experience: Experience with IM8 (Instruction Manual for Infocomm Technology and Smart Systems) will be a greatly added advantage.
2. Key Responsibilities
  • Apply cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) computing skills to deploy patches, upgrades, and fixes.
  • Create and maintain monitoring and alerting facilities throughout the entire application stack.
  • Liaise with developers, third-party software, and cloud vendors to manage and resolve incidents and technical issues.
  • Maintain, update, and support developers on existing processes and delivery of services via continuous integration and deployment automation.
  • Monitor and manage vulnerability security scan findings, remediate, and harden systems and applications to address vulnerabilities.
  • Work with cloud platform and solution architects to adapt and comply with enterprise and platform change directives.
  • Identify and remediate audit findings or failures in security controls.
  • Automate data, processes, and security controls to provide operational support with metrics.
  • Prepare and maintain technical and operational documentation.
3. What we are looking for
  • Minimum 3 years of technical knowledge of Amazon Web Services.
  • Experience configuring AWS services such as EC2, Network Load Balancer, Application Load Balancer, Web Application Firewall, Security Group, RDS, S3, Lambda.
  • Experience configuring DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, Nexus IQ.
  • Experience setting up CI/CD processes and tools.
  • Experience maintaining monitoring tools like Zabbix and Kibana.
  • Experience in application development and middleware setup.
  • Experience managing and remediating security vulnerabilities.
  • Experience in application integration with RDS is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols and services such as SFTP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, routing is an added advantage.
