About this Opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Category Buyer to join our Procurement & Supply Chain team.

Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, you will provide expertise in total cost ownership during procurement process and liaise with various stakeholders to understand needs and plan for purchase. You will also handle contracts and tendering processes while executing procurement initiatives with the relevant stakeholders.

This is a full-time position based in our Singapore office.

Key Responsibilities:

· Find new cost reduction and optimization opportunities across the company through spend analysis, benchmarking, close engagement with stakeholders

· Negotiate new and renegotiate expiring contracts to ensure full compliance with our procurement strategies (cost reduction, simplification, improving stakeholder experience and etc)

· Ensure contract is communicated and used by all stakeholder in the company.

· Identify new opportunities with current and potential vendor.

· Review vendor database; limited number of vendors to allow leverage of bulk purchases.

· Ensure contract prices are updated into the system correctly and it is being used.

· Annually review of vendor performance is required.

· Ensure Vendor/Contractor fulfil our procurement requirements such as safety standards, modern slavery & responsible procurement.

· Assist other stakeholders in their tendering/business development with purchasing/commercial advice when required.

· Provide guidance and training for the team for category/supplier related strategies and operational topics.

Qualifications and Experience:

· 10 years’ experience working in a similar role coupled with relevant tertiary qualifications.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly MS Excel.

· Demonstrable analytical capabilities

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Exceptional planning and organisational skills.

· Teamwork or leadership skills.
