Job description

Key Accountabilities

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain test scenarios and detailed end-to-end test cases for assigned projects related to the digital platform’s user acceptance testing.

• Write test cases in JBehave for agile projects.

• Use testing tools such as JIRA, Confluence to execute and track project status.

• Possess knowledge of web and mobile application testing within the banking domain, with strong time management skills and attention to detail to ensure quality and timely delivery.

• Detect, report, and track defects using application tools and coordinate with stakeholders for issue resolution.

• Analyze BDD/User stories from the PO, review, and develop high-level test scenarios to meet user requirements.

• Execute manual or automation testing, log defects, follow up for resolution, generate test reports, and prepare training materials.

• Be an expert in banking domain testing, capable of writing test plans and summaries, and executing end-to-end test scenarios manually or via automation.

• Participate actively in project meetings, collaborating with team members, and managing time effectively to ensure quality and deadlines.

• Develop maintainable automated checks in collaboration with development teams.

• Collaborate proactively with stakeholders from clarification to issue closure.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation, updating it promptly with project changes.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in Web and Mobile Banking solutions, with strong programming skills in various languages.

• Proficiency in Appium, Selenium, JUNIT.

• Strong coding skills in Java, Objective-C, JavaScript, or similar languages.

• Experience in developing complex SQL queries.

• Knowledge of SOAP UI and web service testing is advantageous.

• Basic UNIX commands and familiarity with Linux environments.

• Experience with GIT commands.

• Hands-on experience with tools and frameworks like Cucumber, Appium, Selenium, XCode UI Automation, Espresso.

• Experience with REST API testing using tools like SOAP UI.

• Working knowledge of Bitbucket or similar version control tools.

• Focus on quality in user acceptance testing stages.
