A global leader in specialty chemicals, this company is headquartered in Singapore and operates in various regions with multiple production sites. It serves various industries, including textiles, leather, personal care, food and beverage, and coatings.

Job Description

• Provide day-to-day operational support for the SAP QM module, including user access and authorization management to ensure smooth operations.

• Identify gaps, issues, and workaround solutions, and create functional requirements as input for application design. Assist with the build, testing, and deployment of QM module enhancements.

• Collaborate with business process owners and local users to ensure alignment with global business processes.

• Work closely with AMS vendors to ensure their solutions align with business needs.

• Troubleshoot ABAP programs and assist business users in decision-making.

• Lead and contribute to QM-related projects, ensuring adherence to timelines.

• Set up authorization roles, grant user access, and enforce proper approval processes.

• Support ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the SAP Manager or IT Director.

• Provide support for SAP PP as a secondary module.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• At least 8-9 years of relevant SAP QM experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment (chemical industry preferred), with expertise in SAP ECC 6.0 and/or S/4 HANA.

• Experience with SAP PP is an advantage.

• Strong integration experience and knowledge of key integration points between SAP modules (QM, PP, SD, MM). Knowledge of integration with IBP, BW, and ECC is a plus.

• Preferably certified in SAP QM module, with basic knowledge of SAP report development (ABAP) and form development.

• At least two full life-cycle SAP implementations (Project Preparation through Go-Live), including greenfield implementations.

• Strong understanding of QM (primary) and PP (secondary) functionalities, with hands-on experience configuring and applying these to business issues.

• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide clear and actionable recommendations.

• Capable of working independently and managing workload with minimal supervision.

• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Mandarin language skills are a plus.

• Familiarity with process and project documentation.

• Ability to multitask, manage multiple projects, and deliver results within deadlines. A proactive, adaptable, and resourceful approach is essential.
