Job summary

A leading company in Singapore is seeking a Project Manager to oversee and coordinate various projects. The role involves managing project deliverables, conducting site surveys, and assisting in the tender process. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Project Management or related fields and possess strong communication and project management skills. Experience in contract administration is essential. The position may require overseas travel.

Qualifications

Job description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage, oversee and coordinate all aspects of the assigned projects, according to the brief

  • Conduct site survey with proper documentation and reporting prior to project initiation

  • Assist with the tender process (including but not limited to preparation of tender documents, administration of tender process, evaluation of tenders and submission of tender recommendation report)

  • Provide project / contract administration, including writing minutes of meeting

  • Work closely with stakeholders, consultants, contractors, suppliers & related parties for each assigned project and keep track of the project deliverables to ensure compliance with the specified standards, requirements and safety

  • Responsible for the preparation and timely submission of all claims, variation orders, settlement of final accounts of assigned projects and ensure compliance with approved budgets

  • Liaise with Finance to coordinate for payments to relevant parties

  • Assist with the annual budgeting requirements of the projects department

  • Assist with the periodic reporting requirements of the projects department

Requirements:

  • Degree in Project Management, or in Building, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Quantity Surveying

  • Minimum of 4-5 years' relevant experience, preferably in project development & execution

  • Good technical background and knowledge to support the superior in managing project risks and issues

  • Good knowledge in Contracts Law and SOP Act

  • Experience in contract administration and procurement

  • Proficient in MS office

  • Good team player with ability to work independently, effective communication & interpersonal skills

  • Able to multi-task and is highly motivated & self-driven

  • Overseas travelling may be required
