Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate spray painting equipment and tools.
  • Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using spray guns to achieve smooth, even coatings.
  • Interpret and follow design plans, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Mix paints and finishes to achieve desired colours and textures.
  • Inspect painted surfaces for quality and make touch-ups as needed.
  • Ensure surfaces are properly prepared (e.g., cleaned, sanded, primed) before painting.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
  • Follow health and safety regulations, including use of PPE.
  • Collaborate with team members such as designers, carpenters, and other professionals.
  • Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
  • Other tasks as assigned by your superior and Head of Department.

Job Requirement:

  • Minimum GCE O Level.
  • Proficiency in operating spray-painting equipment and tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of different types of paints, finishes, and application techniques.
  • Strong colour sense and the ability to accurately mix and match paints.
  • Physical stamina and strength for extended periods of painting and handling equipment.
  • Good communication skills to understand instructions and coordinate with others.
  • Prior experience in spray painting, particularly in the relevant industry (e.g., automotive, industrial), is preferred.
