Job description

  • Permanent position, Salary up to $3,800 + Incentives

  • Queenstown MRT

  • Must possess a valid Class 3 driving license

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct vehicle check-ins with customers, review repair history, verify personal details, and prepare detailed work orders and cost estimates including photos and documentation.

  • Advise customers on claim procedures, liaise with insurers and surveyors to negotiate labour rates, finalize claim amounts, and ensure accurate, timely invoice closures.

  • Coordinate closely with workshop teams to monitor repair progress, meet deadlines, and ensure seamless communication across departments to minimize vehicle downtime.

  • Perform final checks post-repair, arrange customer collection, explain invoice details, and flag any pending issues such as supplementary jobs or backordered parts

  • Maintain comprehensive case records, manage damaged parts for inspection, handle fleet/internal repair orders, assist teammates as needed, and uphold the cleanliness and image of the Body & Paint reception area.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent qualification

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role

  • Prior experience in the motor trade or Body & Paint department, with exposure to customer and surveyor interactions, is an added advantage

  • Must possess a valid Class 3 driving license
