A leading company in Singapore is seeking an Accounting professional to manage ledger entries, financial reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Accounting, strong attention to detail, and experience with ERP systems. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Preparing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations and maintaining the general ledger system.
Perform month-end and year-end closing, assist in ensuring that statutory accounts, management reports and tax returns are submitted on an accurate and timely basis.
Maintain Sarbanes Oxley compliance for financial reporting.
Maintain compliance with various data protection acts when sharing information around the world.
Maintain fixed assets register
Preparation of cash applications and accounts reconciliations.
Perform bank reconciliations.
Assist in ongoing and upcoming projects
Liaising with different stakeholders and outsourced vendors
· Any other duties as assigned by Supervisor
· Minimum Diploma in Accounting
· Meticulous, with eye for detail and accuracy
· Positive attitude and proactive behavior
· Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
· Experience in Enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems in the finance application area
· Good written and spoken English communication skills
