In this position you will....

Be responsible for supporting the collection process for Agency business in Singapore. The ideal candidate is accurate, focused, understands the basic principles of accounting, disciplined, and open to learning and development. You will view process controls as a challenge to embrace and will also identify areas for improvement in processes and systems. The position requires someone who is open to change and enjoys working in a transforming and growing environment.

You will be responsible for…

End-to-end Accounts Receivable functions, including but not limited to:

  • Timely month-end closing for Accounts Receivable
  • Conducting monthly credit control meetings
  • Monitoring and following up with marketing colleagues and customers on overdue payments
  • Performing monthly bank reconciliations
  • Coordinating legacy system issues or upgrades
  • Carrying out ad hoc duties as assigned by the manager
  • Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles in accordance with local and international standards

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role

  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Good time-management skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Full set accounting experience is an advantage
  • Knowledge or experience in financial services or the insurance industry, and familiarity with Oracle, are advantageous
