A leading company in the logistics sector is seeking a motivated HR Executive/Senior HR Executive to enhance HR operations. The role includes managing HR functions, overseeing payroll for the Singapore office, and supporting regional HR initiatives. Candidates should possess a diploma in HR management and have relevant experience, particularly in payroll handling and compliance.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Executive/Senior HR Executive to join our dynamic team. This new role has been created to strengthen current HR operations and provide critical support to regional offices. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing HR generalist functions, overseeing payroll processes for regional offices, and contributing to HR initiatives aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Generalist Functions
Provide daily support in board spectrum of HR and Admin functions including assigned regional offices.
Support recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires.
Assist in administration of employee benefits including staff insurance, leaves, HR claims
Support performance management cycles, including appraisal coordination and feedback facilitation.
Assist to provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
Handle offboarding activities
2. Payroll Management
Monthly payroll preparation and processing for Singapore office, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
Manage and collaborate with external payroll vendors/inhouse payroll administrators in regional offices and ensure timely submission of payroll data.
Reconcile payroll reports and address discrepancies in a timely manner.
Stay updated on regional statutory and tax regulations affecting payroll.
3. Regional HR Support
Assist in developing and implementing regional HR policies and procedures.
Support HR projects such as talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives etc
4. Compliance and Administration
Ensure HR processes and practices comply with local labor laws and regulations across the region.
Maintain and update employee records in HR systems and ensure data accuracy.
Support audits and other compliance-related activities.
Assist in the legal compliance issues concerning employment management, recruitment, performance management and end of employment
Manage and maintain employee related data and reporting
Any other duties as assigned by the line manager/Management
Requirements
Min Diploma in Human Resources Management, Business Management/Studies or related field
At least 3 years of hands-on HR experience, with at least 1-2 years handling Singapore payroll. Preferably Executive who are specialized in Human Resources or equivalent
HR experience in Freight Forwarding/Transportation/Logistics industry is a plus
Soild understanding of local labour laws, legislations and payroll compliance
Proficient in PayTime and/or payroll software is an advantage
Great sense of responsibilities and commitment
Must be able to accept mundane administrative duties
Good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
High attention to details and able to manage multiple priorities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in MS-Office applications and good in excel
High integrity when handling confidential information
