The School of Continuing and Lifelong Education (SCALE) at NUS aims to expand lifelong learning offerings to support the university's mission to be a leading global institution and fulfill its role as Singapore's public university. SCALE provides a range of programs, including professional development, degree courses, and modular courses, developed in collaboration with industry to ensure relevance.

About the role:

NUS is a Training Partner in an IMDA-appointed consortium to establish and operate the NUS ICT Academy, supporting ICT workforce upskilling and reskilling. The Skills Managers will assist in outreach and administrative tasks within the Academy, reporting to the Head of NUS ICT Academy. This is a fixed-term contract until October 31, 2026, with remuneration based on a 12-month salary structure and performance-based bonuses.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Partnership: Collaborate with partners and government agencies to promote learning and development (L&D) opportunities, manage relationships with organizations like MNCs, LLEs, SMEs, trade associations, and unions, and expand the network of industry partners.
• Learning & Development: Facilitate workforce transformation through upskilling/reskilling, conduct training needs analysis, develop and evaluate training programs, incorporate innovative learning methodologies, and manage learning interventions including e-learning.

Requirements:

• Academic & Professional Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resource Development, or Organizational Development; proficiency in MS Office and Adobe; additional certifications like ACLP, DACE, or Power BI knowledge are advantageous.
• Experience & Attributes: Minimum of 8 years relevant experience in L&D systems, instructional design, content development, and training evaluation; experience with learning management systems such as Canvas or Docebo; familiarity with adult learning approaches; understanding of SSG ICT Skills Framework; strong facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively in dynamic environments.
