Job summary

A leading company is seeking a seasoned IT Security professional to manage Endpoint Protection solutions and ensure compliance with security standards. The role involves incident resolution, policy management, and mentoring junior staff. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in IT Security, particularly with endpoint solutions, and will be able to work on a yearly renewable contract basis.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in IT Security, specializing in Endpoint Protection.
• CISSP or Symantec SEPM certification preferred.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the final technical escalation point for Endpoint Security (Symantec SEP, SentinelOne, McAfee), Data Leak Prevention (DLP), and Encryption solutions, ensuring rapid resolution of critical incidents.
• Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-wide Endpoint Protection policies, including antivirus, EDR, and threat response configurations.
• Investigate data security incidents using forensic tools, conduct root cause analysis, and deliver actionable reports.
• Lead technical transitions, upgrades, and migrations of security tools across global regions (Europe/Asia).
• Automate repetitive tasks through scripting (Python/PowerShell) to optimize operational efficiency.
• Enforce compliance with ITIL processes, banking regulations (e.g., anti-money laundering), and internal security standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new security projects, POCs, and vulnerability management initiatives.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and mentor junior team members on best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Science (Computer Studies), or a related field.
• 8+ years in IT Security, specializing in Endpoint Protection (Symantec SEP, Windows Defender, EDR tools).
• Hands-on experience with DLP, encryption, and phishing prevention solutions.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
• Analytical mindset for risk assessments and forensic investigations.
• CISSP or Symantec SEPM certification (preferred).
• Nice-to-Have:
• Scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Regex).

Additional info:

• This role is offered on a yearly renewable contract basis, with the potential for permanent employment based on performance.
• Able to support rotational shift schedules:
• (a) Primarily: 2 PM - 11 PM SGT (aligned with EU time zone)
• (b) Occasional 9 AM - 6 PM SGT shifts and on-call support.
