About the Team

The Technical Program Manager will join TikTok's Global PMO team, which acts as a bridge between product and engineering teams, driving tech projects from ideation to launch.

The TPM will partner with software engineering teams based in China and Singapore.

• Serve as the bridge between various teams across countries, working closely with Product, Engineering, UI/UX, Data Analysts, and other TikTok teams to deliver new products and features globally.
• Manage complex, cross-functional programs and oversee all aspects of their delivery.
• Create and maintain roadmaps in collaboration with engineering and product leaders.
• Define processes for driving programs and continuously improve them using data-driven approaches. Own collaboration processes and tools.
• Perform general project management activities, including:
• Preparing project schedules and defining milestones.
• Tracking progress, reporting, identifying risks, and removing blockers.
• Leading Agile/Scrum teams as a coach or Scrum Master.
• Ensuring smooth product/app releases to market.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or higher with 3+ years of project delivery or technical leadership experience, complemented by strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies is desirable but not mandatory; a positive attitude and willingness to adapt are more important.
• Effective communication skills for engaging teams, management, and stakeholders at all levels, with a proven track record of delivering projects.
• Experience working in dynamic, fast-paced environments requiring self-motivation, autonomy, and juggling multiple projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working across multiple time zones.
• Passion for the Internet industry and eagerness to grow with the company by addressing global challenges.
