Job description

We are looking for an experienced Body & Paint Manager to oversee daily operations and drive service revenue within our automotive Body & Paint workshop. You will be responsible for leading a team, ensuring compliance with insurance and safety standards, and delivering top-tier service to customers.


You should be someone with experience leading a team, have fronted customers and done high volume of transactions for Body & Paint in any similar context.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve monthly revenue targets and grow Body & Paint service business.
  • Ensure compliance with MCF and GIA guidelines for repairs and claims.
  • Lead and motivate workshop staff to maintain performance and morale.
  • Handle customer feedback, goodwill approvals, and technical campaign follow-ups.
  • Monitor repair orders, WIP, parts availability, and credit collections.
  • Plan workshop capacity and support scheduling with Service Advisors.
  • Maintain service quality, safety standards, and cleanliness of the workshop.
  • Prepare monthly reports on performance, vehicle intake, and outstanding ROs.
  • Coach Customer Service Advisors to improve customer satisfaction scores.
  • Continuously improve processes and SOPs.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience managing automotive or mechanical workshops.
  • Strong leadership skills; prior Body & Paint experience preferred.
  • Experience with high-volume operations and insurance claims handling.
  • Solid technical knowledge of vehicle systems and workshop processes.
