Job Description:

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Assistant Manager, Finance to lead a small finance team in delivering a full spectrum of finance and accounting functions. This role requires close collaboration with operational staff, business heads, and other stakeholders to ensure effective business partnering, accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, financial operations, taxation, audit, internal control, and governance.

As a key member of the Finance management team, you will also support change initiatives such as ERP system implementation, process and policy improvements, and alignment projects.

You may also be assigned additional responsibilities by management as needed.

Requirements:
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Qualified CPA or CA.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting, including at least 2 years in a managerial role leading a small team.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in finance functions, particularly operational finance, cash handling, and accounting activities.
  • Proven track record as an effective business partner to stakeholders, including senior management.
  • Prior experience in the hospitality or tourism industry will be an advantage.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, analytical, and resourceful with a resilient and positive attitude.
  • This is a 2-year renewable contract role.
