Job Scope

• Play a vital role in ensuring the safety and effectiveness of medical equipment by developing and implementing programs that minimize disruptions to operations and guarantee equipment functionality.
• Manage maintenance agreements with vendors for the servicing and preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Prepare equipment specifications for tender, evaluate tender submissions, and provide recommendations based on technical compliance.
• Act as a trusted technical consultant to staff, guiding them in defining and evaluating their medical equipment needs.
• Educate and train hospital personnel on the proper handling of medical equipment, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills for optimal use.

Requirements

• Min Dip/Deg in Biomedical Engineering/Other relevant certification
• Possesses technical knowledge and experience in preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance
• Knowledge in IT, Cybersecurity and EMR Integration for biomedical and scientific equipment will be an advantage.
