Responsibilities:
- Business Development and Marketing.
- Following up on new business opportunities and setting up meetings.
- Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
- Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices, etc.
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
- Create company policies that encourage a healthy work environment.
- Make changes and suggest improvements to ensure the proper functioning of the department.
- Design onboarding sessions and processes for new recruits.
- Evaluate HR employees' performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure department adherence to company policies and regulations.
- Compile monthly Executive Summaries and Quarterly Reports.
- Assist in responding to employee relation issues in partnership with line managers/supervisors.
- Facilitate recruiting and selection processes, working with management to select the best candidates.
- Coordinate and facilitate the new employee hiring process.
- Assist in policy formation and interpretation.
- Develop employee event planning and development programs.
- Maintain knowledge of employment law and compliance requirements.
- Nurture a positive working environment.
- Monitor employee appraisal processes and morale, and assess company culture.
- Conduct investigations into employee issues as needed.
- Present at monthly Operations Meetings.
- Maintain employee records and update internal databases (e.g., sick and maternity leave).
- Prepare and amend HR documents, such as employment contracts and recruitment guides.
- Review and renew company policies and ensure legal compliance.
- Communicate with external partners.
- Report on HR metrics, such as company turnover.
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR queries.
- Assist with payroll by providing relevant employee data (e.g., leave days).
- Maintain office files and labor records.
- Manage EPOL and WPOL application & renewal processes.
- Source appropriate local employers.
- Handle workers’ medical insurance and Workmen Compensation.
- Handle phone inquiries and other duties as assigned, depending on business needs.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Business Management, Human Resources, Psychology, or relevant qualifications.
- Prior experience as a Senior HR Manager or similar role.
- Proficiency with HR management software (applicant tracking systems, payroll systems, etc.).
- Excellent knowledge of labor registration processes.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to foster a comfortable and healthy work environment.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Willingness to work weekends and public holidays as required.
