Job Description:

This is a full-time position for a Head of Procurement based in Senoko Drive.

Our client is innovating the way fresh fruit and vegetables are supplied to Singapore. You will be responsible for optimizing stock control to ensure efficient inventory management, minimizing shortages and excess. Your role includes developing and implementing procurement strategies for food categories such as frozen food, meat, dairy, and seafood. Key responsibilities involve cost optimization, supplier management, contract negotiations, and market analysis. You will oversee procurement processes, ensure compliance, collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet business needs, represent the company at trade shows, and lead the procurement team to enhance efficiency and foster innovation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• At least 10 years of experience in direct procurement, with a successful record of managing complex procurement functions and achieving cost savings
• Strong network within the food industry regionally and globally
• Proficiency in procurement software, tools, and the Microsoft Office Suite
