Job description

What the role is:

You are responsible for implementing the "Integrated Operations Centre" concept and smart building systems to manage security and FM operations for new MINDEF infrastructure projects, while overseeing Operations Support Information Technology (OSIT) requirements.

What you will be working on:

- Implement Integrated Operations Centre concept
- Plan smart building systems
- Manage security operations
- Oversee Facilities Management (FM) operations
- Coordinate OSIT requirements
- Identify and evaluate IT technologies needed for improved workplace liveability
- Manage complex infrastructure projects in a dynamic environment

What we are looking for:

- Education in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, IT Systems or related fields
- At least 2 years of experience in IT systems, building systems, or facilities management (applicants with no experience may apply)
- Strong organisational skills
- Project management abilities
- Good communication and relationship-building skills
- Technologically savvy and knowledgeable of the latest smart nation initiatives
- Adaptability to complexity and ambiguity
