A leading company in the Building Materials industry is seeking a Technical Sales professional to drive sales and build customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in technical sales, strong communication skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office tools. This role involves executing sales strategies, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring compliance with corporate governance.

Responsibilities:

• Execute day-to-day sales activities, including attending sales enquires, preparing and following up on quotations/tender and customers’ feedback.
• Plan and execute tactical sales action plans with growing sales and profit margins to achieve sales targets and performance.
• Create new contacts and develop new businesses.
• Provide technical sales and marketing support to customers.
• Knowledgeable of market and industry trends and competitors and work closely with stakeholders to maximise sales and profitability.
• Ensure and review requirements for corporate governance and trade compliance.
• Responsible for all Trade Accounts Receivable for customers under your care and ensure zero bad debts.
• To achieve the KPI and other work assigned by the management.
• Any other ad-hoc assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Technical Sales within the Building Materials/Construction industry.
• Proven experience in project management and managing relationships with external stakeholders.
• Strong team player with excellent communication, presentation, and customer relationship skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Possess a valid Class 3 Driving License and own vehicledue to the need for site travelling.
• Willing to work in construction site environments.
