Job Description

The Sales Solution Architect analyzes, designs, and develops roadmaps and implementation plans based on current and future state solution architectures. The candidate assesses near-term needs to establish business priorities, analyzes and develops architectural requirements, and ensures alignment with IT strategy. Success in this role requires clarity on organizational weaknesses and opportunities, as well as vigilance against competitive and environmental threats.

The architect works in dynamic, evolving business environments supporting large, complex deals. Familiarity with industry architectural methodologies, frameworks, modeling tools, and product development methodologies is essential. The candidate must stay updated on technological advancements.

Collaboration with onshore and offshore technology teams across all relevant areas is crucial. The designed solutions should be appropriately tailored and accepted by internal authorities. Post-contract, the candidate transitions the solution to the implementation team.

The Sales Solution Architect leads cross-technology issues and risk mitigation, presenting innovative ideas to client executives. Strong leadership, communication skills, creativity, influence, and stakeholder management are required.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide presales technical support to client service teams.
  2. Analyze tender/client specifications and manage multiple solution workstreams.
  3. Maintain the integrity of solution design aligning with client objectives to create value.
  4. Prepare solution deliverables like cost estimates, risk assessments, and proposals, following governance processes.
  5. Ensure architecture and design agreement with stakeholders and collaborate on viable solutions.
  6. Maintain objective perspectives to advise senior leaders on technical and solution guidance.
  7. Adhere to standards and quality expectations.
  8. Develop and refine solution patterns for recurring problems.
  9. Support interventions on projects facing quality or progress issues.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

  • University Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 10 years in ICT infrastructure architecture, solution or delivery architecture, or large-scale project management across technology stacks.
  • Certifications such as ITIL, TOGAF, AWS Cloud Practitioner are advantageous.
  • Experience in enterprise architecture, SOA, microservices, containerization, APIs, and modern integration (e.g., Kafka).
  • Knowledge of Digital capabilities, Data Architecture, and Cloud Architecture.
  • Proven experience delivering integrated, multi-platform solutions.
  • Familiarity with SDLC using traditional and agile methods.
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps, CI/CD, and automation tools.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain technology to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills for managing complex solutions.
  • Curiosity and questioning mindset.
  • Influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Effective presentation skills.
  • Resilience and team orientation, with the ability to collaborate across stakeholders.
