Job Description

The Account Manager for Corporate Banking will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with corporate clients, with a specific focus on the real estate industry. This role involves understanding client needs, originating financing solutions, managing credit processes, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional client service. The incumbent will work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service and drive the overall success of corporate accounts.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of clients' businesses, particularly within the real estate industry, and provide tailored banking solutions that meet their financial needs. Foster long-term relationships with corporate clients and ensure the highest level of client satisfaction.
  2. Originate and structure appropriate financing solutions that align with clients' business objectives. Advise clients on the best credit options and ensure the terms meet their requirements.
  3. Initiate and prepare comprehensive credit applications, including detailed financial analysis and cash flow projections, to assess client creditworthiness and support financing decisions.
  4. Manage the credit approval process by ensuring timely submission of required documentation and facilitating communication with the credit team. Address all credit inquiries promptly to ensure efficient processing.
  5. Conduct regular annual reviews of corporate accounts and monitor credit exposure. Ensure asset quality through effective risk management practices and take appropriate action to address potential issues.
  6. Oversee and manage the loan documentation process, ensuring all loan agreements, terms, and conditions are accurately captured and legally compliant.
  7. Provide ongoing operational support to clients regarding account management, loan servicing, and related matters. Address client concerns or issues promptly and ensure smooth account operations.
  8. Collaborate closely with internal teams such as risk management, legal, and operations to ensure seamless service delivery to clients. Foster strong working relationships to meet client needs efficiently.

Job Requirements
  • Degree in Business, Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in managing corporate accounts within corporate banking or a related field, with a preference for experience in the real estate sector.
  • Strong credit knowledge and financial analysis skills, with the ability to assess credit risks and structure financing solutions.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to clearly present financial information to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Prior experience in managing large corporate accounts within the real estate industry is advantageous.
