A leading company is seeking a Compensation & Benefits Manager to oversee various compensation activities, manage employee benefits programs, and conduct market research. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in a multinational setting. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in tools like MS Excel and SAP SuccessFactors are essential. This role involves stakeholder engagement and process improvements in compensation management.
Key Responsibilities:
Compensation & Benefits Management:
o Support administration of various compensation activities, including annual
salary reviews, bonus calculations, annual budgeting, recognition program, sales
incentive plans, job structures and international assignment benefits.
o Support the development and maintenance of the company’s compensation
structure, salary bands, and job grading systems.
o Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs (insurance, wellness,
retirement), including vendor management and renewals
o Maintain data on long-term incentive plans and coordinate with external
consultants to manage executive compensation and reporting
o Document, communicate, and maintain all compensation and benefits policies
and procedures.
o Contribute to regional and global C&B initiatives and projects as assigned
o Support and coordinate global mobility processes
Market Research and Benchmarking:
o Conduct salary benchmarking market surveys with market analysis to
understand industry compensation trends.
o Assist in recording job evaluation analysis, market pricing, and internal equity
assessments
o Monitor trends and legislative changes impacting compensation and benefits
practices.
o Prepare reports and dashboards for HR and management
o Support communication on education of employees on reward programs
Budgeting & Reporting:
o Participate in the annual budget exercise with detailed analysis to support cost
projections
o Prepare regular compensation and benefits reports for the leadership team,
showing trends, program effectiveness, and financial impact.
o Maintain and record negotiations with labour unions regarding compensation
and benefits packages.
o Maintain and update employee compensation and benefits records in SAP
SuccessFactors.
o Generate periodic reports on compensation, benefits, and payroll for
management review.
Stakeholder Engagement
o As a member of the Rewards team provide support to Business Unit HR business
partners, line managers on C&B matters.
o Ensure consistent communication and understanding of C&B policies across the
organization.
Projects & Process Improvements
o Contribute to the development and rollout of new C&B initiatives or systems.
o Drive process improvement and automation efforts in the C&B space.
o Support internal audits and compliance-related documentation.
Requirements:
o Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, Finance, or related field.
o Minimum 5 years’ experience in Compensation & Benefits, ideally in a regional
or multinational setting.
o Strong MS Excel skills and proficiency in compensation benchmarking tools (e.g.,
Mercer, Korn Ferry, Willis Towers Watson).
o Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and modelling skills will be advantageous.
o Experience with HRIS systems like SAP Success Factors, exposure to
SuccessFactors Performance Management and Compensation modules would
be advantageous.
o Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive data with
confidentiality.
