A leading company in the maritime and construction sectors is seeking a qualified individual for a significant project at Changi Naval Base. This role involves managing contracts, liaising with clients, and ensuring successful project execution. Candidates with a background in civil engineering and project management are preferred, with opportunities for career growth in a national importance project.
Location: Singapore Based (Changi Naval Base, project office at Lavender area)
Contract Duration: Project contract (estimated 26 months till completion, starting Jan 2024)
Working Hours: 5.5 days per week (Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, alternate Saturday full day)
Salary: $6000 to $8000 (depends on experience)
Qualifications: Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in civil works. Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project, Primavera, and AutoCAD.
Additional Advantage: Candidates with Quantity Surveying or Contracts background is advantageous.

Liaise with and assist the Managing Director in responding to requests for quotation from local and overseas clients.
Manage and coordinate the preparation of pre-tender documentation, respond to tender clarifications, attend tender meetings, and lead to the award of tenders.
Prepare contract documents, oversee contract administration, and review the commercial aspects of contracts and agreements with clients and sub-contractors.
Assist Project Managers in preparing monthly progress payments and ensure successful claims.
Attend site meetings as required.
Assist in preparing variation orders and maintaining comprehensive records of work alterations and design amendments.
Liaise with main contractors and clients’ Quantity Surveyors regarding claims, negotiations, and finalization of accounts.
Prepare budgets and cash flow projections in collaboration with directors, project managers, and financial controllers.
Assist in negotiating subcontractor packages and preparing agreement letters.
Analyze project scope and contracts for effective administration, interpreting architectural and shop drawings.
Coordinate with financial controllers and project managers to monitor project costs and handle financial administration.
Report on cost history for contract negotiations and budgeting.
