Job description

Job Responsibilities

1. Manages the plant upgrading/expansion projects to ensure projects are on schedule and within budget, complying with regulatory and technical requirements.
2. Manages a team of engineers, technicians, and contractors to perform preventive maintenance activities, repair/breakdown maintenance, and building and ground services to achieve minimum disruptions to operations and meet regulatory requirements and service standards.
3. Monitors utility capacity utilization and plans for future expansion to meet the growing utilities and facility needs.
4. Monitors and drives the department goals that were set. Ensures critical systems are built and operated in conformance with regulatory standards, system specifications, and SOPs. Implements lean energy programs and drives improvements in energy efficiency.
5. Responsible for compliance with environmental and safety procedures and requirements.
6. Performs other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

1. Minimum Diploma in either Facility Engineering or Project Management.
2. Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
3. Desired Knowledge:
   1. Compressed Air Systems
   2. Cleanroom Systems
   3. Air Conditioning Systems or other plant facilities equipment maintenance
   4. Operating knowledge in a manufacturing environment
